With over 81,000 square feet of dedicated recreational space and more than 7,000 square feet of ground-floor commercial activity, ʻIlima strikes a balance between private luxury and community engagement. It represents the next phase in Ward Village’s transformation, serving as a beacon of thoughtful revitalization.
Designed with a strong emphasis on walkability and green spaces, ʻIlima will enhance Auahi and Queen Streets with lush landscaping and pedestrian-friendly pathways designed by VITA Planning & Landscape Architecture. A standout feature is a botanical garden pathway, extending from the IBM Building to Diamond Head Plaza Park, incorporating over 14 species of native Hawaiian plants to create an immersive natural experience.
